Auckland Fest Saturday 25th July 2015 - LOCK AND LOAD

Post by Bg »

Ok, I'll check dates on friday and put up a poll. Though its more likely to be back end of July - a saturday.

So far I'm thinking the community hall in Ellerslie, just down from Clockwork. So leave your diaries free, and lets do it while the capt lives in ellerslie :D

Ok, we can do better than that.... 25th July from Midday onwards, venue is The Dogs Bollix, 2 Newton Road, Auckland City

Be there or square :D
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

Not needed, aucks always do the best fests. As you'd know if you could ever get a visa to the mainland, let me know if you fancy it and I'll put in a good word.

We have the best gear too, and a virtual earthquake free zone. Plus I'll film it with a drone.

Gearfest in Auckland. Is the moon blue tonight?

I'm gonna be in 'Straya first 2 weekends of July. Not that anyone would be interested in my old shit. I might come for the beer though.

Will try to make it, but I'm a bit worried about the traffic to get there. Also I looked at Google maps and I it's more than 20meters to the nearest place I can get a soy mocha latte so unless the hall comes with a barista I might not be able to make it.

PS if you make too much noise it might effect my house price appreciation so I'll be on the phone to Lenny to shut it down.

Don't worry, as soon as the neighbours spot me and realise I'm a westie/bogan, they'll assume we're all smoking meth and call the cops.

Keen!

This was enjoyed.

I'm in for the last w/end of July. I'm shifting my support to Ork Fests as Tron Fests are always the best fests, but I prefer to back the underdogs.

While I do walk past it most days, its usually pretty closed up by the time I get out of the office.

There's a bus stop right outside the hall which usually has a mob of Penrose high kids sniffing glue or whatever high school kids get up to these days. Reckon the locals might appreciate the change.

Interested but depends on which weekend will be chosen.

Not sure how a single hall will accommodate appreciation of a particular amp/guitar combo thru the expected pandemonium of sounds...
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.
