Nah it's great man, really nice. I'm happy to hold the neck aside for you till you're ready. Thought I might put trade feelers out in case anyone has a neck a bit small, but most likely I'll trim the rosewood to suit.twangnsnarl wrote:Glad you like the Tele. Always a bit nerve-wracking handing something you've put together yourself to someone else. Half-expected you to go 'it's shit' and demand your money back! Sounded good through your Mesa though; much nicer than I've ever made it sound.
I've been thinking about a Nocaster-ish build, so if you want to let that neck go I could probably buy it back off you some time. Not currently though as the gear fund is exhausted from buying the Tokai back, and that'd leave you without a playable Tele anyway.

Good value & great meeting everyone.
Lots of nice amps & guitars!
The road to Hamilton has improved massively since I last went down (10 years ago) so now its only just over an hour away.

Oh may fit some crafty beers in too.

Shit Grant, take that expression to your next board meeting and they'll make you Chair out of sheer terror!

would've taken more but I enjoyed playing and watching too much!
Good fest - couple beer's shared - lots of snozzages eaten - many guitars played.

Great fun, and always good catching up with everyone. Miza's Tele, and Danny's Junior were very enjoyable jams! Also had especially funky jam with Grant on the Deluxe and me on his 56' Special. Included much Flange on my behalf.....
Cheers for organizing guys.

always a pleasure - big ups for Matman having the wintec work hook ups too - next time (probably March at this point) we will probably have the 2nd large studio room too - so we won't have to all be crammed in 1 main room.SimonHirst wrote: Cheers for organizing guys.
We did have 2 smaller rooms that didn't end up getting used - as we all managed to fit in the main classroom.
Option 2 will be the Meteor - $100 for the day - 2-3 rooms available. People will just have to COMMIT to the day and Pay up front before the day - we'd need $100 at LEAST to cover hire.
that's a discussion for the next thread
Wintec so far looks like the best option - always happy to bring food and drink - guitar sustenance.

What? Grant trying out an Ibanez?
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

It's a PRS. Not quite a swimming pool... unless there had been a brown alert.jvpp wrote:What? Grant trying out an Ibanez?

I'm bummed I didn't manage a hoon on Hacksaw's Transatlantic but other than that it was a great fest. Thanks all.
