From the title, I thought this was a thread about Marriage..

I realise this is a Grumpy Old Man comment but I get really pissed off with the volume of some gigs. It's not cool, it's just fucking irresponsible.
Very funny.

Very true.

It starts at middle school. When our daughter went to one of the school end of year parties or whatever it was, the music was very loud. This was at age 14 or so. My wife went to talk to the teacher(s) about turning it down a tick. They just didn't get it, so it stayed loud.
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

One ears pretty twatted already, and the highs are going from both before I'm a quarter century old.
Kind of a moot point given my arms don't want to play the game anymore.
