Great, suggest a date when you are free then - as per a couple of posts above...
1st saturday I'm free is 4 may

Bump
Two proposed dates received both for the 4th of May.
Any others or is 'everyone' okay with the 4th?

I'd be a starter for the 4th if there's space for a well-worn L'arrivee D03...

I think 4th works for me—at least it does currently.

I arrived last to discover I was delaying the serving of lunch!
I'd forgotten that the Acoustic world is refined, cultured and civilised.

Before we cleared the plates, JVPP serenaded us on an old Gibson Hummingbird.

DC. A grizzled man and a growly guitar; Slowy's redwood baritone. Love what he did with it.

H671 and a really loud Lowden

Olegmcnoleg with a sublime handmade Goodall. He won't thank me for saying this but when Oleg plays, it's incredibly hard not to put down your guitar and sit on your hands.

From left: PRS Angelus, Martin D41, Gibson Hummingbird, Lowden F35 (I think).

Santa Cruz OM. This guitar has the most delicate beauty. It's sublime in the hands of a subtle player, shows me up as a ham fisted oaf.

My Lowden and Taylor seemed to miss out in the photo call.

Thank you to all who attended; it was a very pleasant way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
Special thanks to JVPP for hosting and cooking, DC for beer, JVPP, Oleg and DC for fine vocals.

If you want to do it again gentlemen, count me in.

What a great day!
We could hear what was being played & could actually play songs.
I was humbled by the expertise today - thanks all & for lunch jpvv.

Yeah awesome afternoon! Cheers JVPP for hosting and feeding. Great jamming too, quite a few times we were all playing the same thing at the same time!

Well done lads, looks like it was fun. The one we did in Chch was great too (albeit uncatered!) and was a great way to play some tunes, have a few beverages and talk some crap without having to shout all the time.
