'twas cool. Nice to see some of you before I bugger off in a month.

Favourite guitar for me was CD's Ibanez 540P - mainly cos it looked so damn cool, but it also played beautifully, and (as far as I could hear ;) ) sounded really nice too.

I'll be popping back relatively regularly, so I hope to be able to get to some more 8)

Fave stuff for me:

-Barber direct drive
-Maxon analog delay (especially with Jono operating it)
-Jono's sweet lollar-equipped tele
-Robin guitars
-realtone tele-gib
-the 18 HW marshall (when the extra cab was plugged in)
-lovepedal eternity
-BG's Ash p90 guitar: BALLS!
-and Ryan's killer 65 London.

Great to meet some of you guys. Especially big props to Ash, Crushing and Ryan for bringing heaping piles of cool stuff.

Tele-gib is a term Seymour Duncan came up with for a guitar he built for Jeff Beck in the 70s. He took a tele, hacked the front of the bridge plate away and installed two humbuckers. A tele with gibson electronics.

One day - when Adrian has my bass ready and it all coincides with a gearfest, I WILL be there - but only if BG sings/plays his favourite EC number - Wonderful Tonight.... It must also be played to a reggae beat...the way it should be!!
He hit a chord that rocked the spinet and disappeared into the infinite ...

I'll do Wonderful Tonight if you do April Sun in Cuba :P

Me and Iain went round to Ryans place so he could try some of those great speakers out yesterday, and you could just tell that he wanted to break into April Sun... fortunately he showed some restraint ;)

oh god you will though won't you :(

Huzzah, I'm back from Sydney! Viva la internet access!

Just thought I'd say, this was an excellent day. Where are the pictures?

My hi-lights:
-Ryan's 65Amps. Totally ROCKING!
-Ryan's Gretsch. LORD, man... you have no idea what you've done to me!
-Our favourite "Hot Grits" hot licks...
-Barber Direct Drive (gonna have to get me one of these... they're cheap as chips!
-Ash's P90 for BG. Lord almighty, that thing is FAT.

... and of course, meeting all you tone hounds! (For the second time, in some cases...)

Now lets see some pics!
