The plot thickens
The original cap can is a 40/20/20
So perhaps this is an ab764 not aa764

At any rate the 5y3 is indeed a GT

Could it be a replacement ?
I see sanding marks scuffing the chassis by the solder marks .do you think fender would have done that from factory ?

Looking at the modern Clapton Vibro Champ it's 22/10/10 450V/400V/400V
How can I be sure I'm here?
The pills that I've been taking confuse me...

Only love from me for Fender amps. They scuffed the chassis to ensure proper grounding. My Princeton has it.

Leo was a great engineer and always thought about things like quiet sound floor, durability and serviceability. Unlike (insert every modern mass produced amp maker).

The fact those schematics and layouts are there …in all their hand rules glory. Would love to have seen them being drawn up

Essentially a boutique amp for the every-working-person.
