An insane amount of gear there.

The Nocaster with the little story next to it was pretty cool, though

A world of history wrapped up in a compendium of one mans life.

That's just fantastic.

Love to get my hands on his valve collection!

And definitely take the No Caster on page 384!

I remember seeing on youtube where Les would use a machine that massaged his hands on a daily basis to ease up the arthritis and allow him to work in his work shop.

What a cool dude!

Amazing collection, seems a shame to split it up. They should just put it all in a museum. The Les Paul Museum.

Not a big Strat guy then.

I read in an interview somewhere that Les Paul was working on a cheaper, better sounding hearing aid, right before he passed away. I'd love to know what became of that.

Sounds like he was good mates with Leo, though.

Yeah but what is in the Paulverizer that's what I want to know. They did not list that separately, but one is built into a cab.

Usually the les paulveriser was a prop while they played back prerecorded tapes of his sound experiments, but some incarnations had a working tape delay for live effects, no doubt built or customised by the man himself.

Wow, it's almost worth a trip for the auction preview.

I saw his bench vice is up for auction - it's probably no ordinary bench vice, he would have modified it with multi-stage constantly variable gearing, motorized swivel base, adaptive jaws, and of course a tape loop.

Wow. Take out all the guitars and there's still so much amazing stuff.

Love that pic at the end of Brian Setzer wearing EVH's 5150 Kramer.

So much stuff! And possibly some undersetimated items. P 191 has a Reissue LP, serial number 9 00005, est $1000-1500. I'll take it :!:
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Yeah, USD or not, I'm having a few WTF moments with their indicative pricing. As little as I know about vintage guitars, I doubt some of those would list on eBay for prices that low, never mind the fact that they were owned by Les Paul.
