Lets Play, 'What's in the Stinky Case?'

Talking to one of my Contractors this afternoon. "Here," he says, "You like this smelly old shit. You want to have a play with it?"
Um...Yes Please
So let's have some fun. Guess what it is. Some clues:
1: I haven't just found a missing 59.
2: Only just missed by a year or two though.
3. Apparently these were found in the hands of many of the young future greats from UK.
Right. I'm off to fettle it. Apparently, last time the case was opened, Internet was being caught between two fishing trawlers.

looks like a fat acoustic case, but I'm guessing a jazz box of some sort. Maybe a fat jazz box from 1961.
