Carried on from the "Pedal Refinishing?" thread

It is complete
2 coats of auto enamel spraypaint from Supercheap, then two clear coats for protection and a nice sheen.
Black lettering done with a vivid between the two clear coats.

Did the Whammy and DIY Boost Yellow

Overall I'm pretty pleased with my first time painting pedals. I might fix up the rough edges on the Whammy and this time put on a big piece of tape then cut around the lettering with a craft knife, which is how I got the Red Witch logo like that

Nice dude, that's huge commitment to the colour orange, and to a lesser extent the colour yellow

Well done man, looks really good. White racing stripes would have been cool too.

haha no orange is not my favourite colour, I just liked how the George Lynch Tripler and Boss DS-1 looked so I thought I'd make them all the same colour hehe.

I was a bit nervous but I did a good job taping up the holes and bits, and when the first one I did worked after drying I started on the rest, every pedal works so I did something right!

I did the Whammy yellow cause I just thought a yellow whammy would look way cooler than an orange one. The boost I did yellow too just cause I thought itd be weird having only one yellow one.

Basically I stole the idea off Jack White who did all his pedals red for the stripes, bronze/copper for Racconteurs, and white for dead weather. Orange has no significance at all, just thought it looked cool.

toying with the idea of putting some yellow or black VH style stripes on a couple of them, but I do like the uniformity of just straight Orange with black lettering

I was going to say "White stripes would have been cool too", but then thought that might have been confusing with the whole Jack White thing.

Australian Export Enamel Paint from supercheap, $6 something a can. Nah the only problem was mositure from my breath on the pedals when I was concentrating made the vivd bleed a little, but an easy fixup.

haha the thing was I knew painting all of these orange would seriously reduce resale value, so I made sure the pedals were keepers before I did it. Thinking about doing my pitchblack yellow too, and maybe my DD-3 orange not too sure if I'll be keeping my DD-3 forever though.
