Hi guys. Im rehousing a Behringer HM300 as the plastic case it is in puts me way of it... just seems to be ready to break.

I dont know how Im going to rewire it though as have never come across this type of scenario in my already limited experience with such things.

Yeah.. any help?

Hopefully its a straight forward fix or I'll just keep it plastic and fantastic.

Cheers

Two ways you can do it, if you don't mind keeping the original buffer circuit in place then just pull that switch out and solder in two wires to a momentary footswitch (not latching like you have), otherwise you need to find the fet that does the buffering on the board and bypass it, so you can then wire the sockets and everything into your switch like a normal true bypass pedal.

I vote momentary, far easier, alternately, wire the 3pdt from your case jacks, to the leads that were attached to the original jacks, if you must have true bypass. You may need to include a momentary external switch in case it defaults to off when you power down, which is likely. Get the meter out
