Thanks so much to Toany for the 100k log and 1k reverse log pots, I installed them today and the difference is night and day, really stoked with how it sounds now, and the control over the fuzz is way more useable!!! Thanks everyone for all the tips!

Yup! Going to give it a good play before I look at swapping trannies, all the surface mount resistors etc scare me too much to touch :rofl: its lost its muddyness with the 100k volume change :thumbup:

A nice easy mod is to install 47pf caps between the collector and base of each of the transistors. This cuts down oscillations/noise/hiss/general schmutz. You see this on the Black Arts Toneworks Ritual Fuzz which is a modded FF with the gain at max. It's a good idea.
