I like eyelet boards for Fender amps because they are traditional for these amps. Turret boards are a bit easier to work with and always look neater to my eye.

My Trinity TC15 chassis is complete and tested. Valves installed, all voltages within tolerance and the VRM provides B+ from 80V to 380V. Didn't realise until testing that it's also got a "Pull Master Volume" control. Got the 2yo grandy here at the moment so only had it quiet, but looking forward to cranking it when no-one's home! This one should be Vox and Matchless goodness. Will also break in my brand new Celestion Alnico Blue (not Gold) on the Variac when the time is right.

Would have loved a Voxish looking combo but this amp chassis won't suit. So likely a head. Will discuss with the cabmeister (BG) soon...
Here's an example.

Mmmm, that looks rather nice, Mike. Next time you're in Greenlane at BG's place you should pop around the corner to me in Remuera and try that amp through my Alnico Cream (the best Alnico of them all).
