Amp. front panel design.
Hi all.
I've recently finished building a Fender Champ clone, and need to have someone design and manufacture a front panel for me. Is there anybody here who does this sort of thing please, or point me in the direction of somebody who does ? Thank you.
Gary.

And it's $110 without NZ shipping.
No thanks.
The design part of the faceplate is easy. It's the manufacture you'll need to look into. I wonder if the guys linked above can supply a template or any word of on a file type, colour space etc.

Thanks for the heads-up Mike. My chassis dimensions are quite different to the real article.Mike Clayton wrote:This... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Replacement-Fa ... SwM81dHiIJ.

Re: Amp. front panel design.
Can you post a pic of your amp, especially the control plate. I sell a range of Blackface Decals including a "Vibro Champ-Amp" - these are lettering decals that go on the "no-logo" Mojo face-plates that come in many kits. Might work on your face-plate to at least "name" the amp. Here's a PR I built with one of my decals attachedDr. DeSoto wrote:Thanks for the heads-up Mike. Thank you to all who have responded to my post.
I have in mind something like this, which I did years ago ............... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMrWR6UQY_Q
I want somebody to design something similar for me. I know that it can be done on a computer but I have neither the skills nor software necessary.

I have recently done just that for a small head, see page 5: https://www.nzguitars.com/forum/viewtop ... 7&start=60Dr. DeSoto wrote:Thank you to all who have responded to my post.

There is free software around that you can use (ie, Inkscape) but, yes , there is a bit of a learning curve. Even if you know how to use the software, the process of creating the front panel layout is quite time consuming.
Do a sketch first with pencil so you can show how you see the panel layout.
