I'll pm what he has if you like and he also has a good range of EL34s, including NOS Telsas (not JJ) which are getting really good reviews as being one of the best and not stupidly expensive either. The guy used to be David Lee Roth's lead guitarist, but now he cruises around searching for good tubes and selling them mostly to members of guitar forums at much lower prices than the big tube sellers that he seems to hate. Prices are great, I think he could provide a full set of nos pre and power tubes for not much more than new stock tubes.

Check this 2203 kit out: http://metroamp.com/store/index.php?mai ... cts_id=505 just add a half power switch

or Mojo do a nice classic plexi kit that you can mod to 2203 specs (cascade preamp and add MV) http://www.mojotone.com/amp-parts/100-W ... e-Head-Kit
Terry Kilgore, eh? -I believe he lasted a few gigs. Cool dude, though:

He's a hardcase alright.
Knows his amp and tube business though and is good to deal with, even if his emails are hard to read because they have no full stops. I asked him for tube suggestions for my amp and was surprised he said Sylavania 6CA7s, but man he was right, awesome tubes for only $150 a pair. He even suggested a good "get 200 more horsepower" mod for my amp too. Well packaged tubes and he keeps the postage costs down too.
I think for gigging and band practice, modern tubes are the ones to use unless you are rich, but for recording or if you get off on extra good tone Terry has some damn good tubes and he does not charge stupidly high prices like those other nos tube dealers.
