Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

a friend of mine made a tesla coil, he had a long bank of transformers, most of them he made as well out of glass and foil, some were huge! he built a cage around the coil in case it frieked out when he turned it on.
we were in his back yard in Kew and he flicked the switch, after about 3 mins we had a spark!
