yes i diy everything except the hardware n electronics. the neck is like between a trapezoid n a chunky les paul size neck, the body shape can b a bit uncomfortable at the beginning due to the shape while sitting, but u sorta get use to it. sounds pretty mellow on the p90 pickup with mild distortion, the brigde humbucker is only good for chugga chugga metal kind of sound  . i can post some building photo if anyone interested.

once upon a time in auckland, i ordered a slab of mahogany from adrian. it was as thick as 60mm if im not mistaken, which is huge for a solid body gat.
since im cheap, im ripping it to a 40mm + 20mm with my $8 hand saw.

since i dun have a bandsaw, i drilled holes around the body shape, then freehand route it. got it plan flat by adrian(yes i gave up hand planing). there r some issues with the planner, its leaving some lines on the surface, prob the blade is chipped. so i have to hand plane all the high spots, but thats alrite.
the top is now 15mm thick.
