anyway, its in the pipeline lol....
am undecided what I'm going to do with it yet. I've started stripping it but may end up repainting it once I get the 1986 goop off it. I have too many black guitars, so time for a change probably

This old thing got some shed time during my summer holiday. Went in for new tyres, had really manky looking rims & spokes. I scrubbed it all, freed up frozen spokes and got em adjusted up. A blast of silver paint - note to self; check spray gun fan effect. It dripped & ran, you know how it goes with those quick jobs. Wheels looked so good that the mudguards looked terrible, off they came, another scrubbing & donging out the dents. Slightly better blast of silver. New brake shoes up front, lubed the cables etc...
Turned on the gas for a start up after sitting 6 months, petrol pissed out of a dried up shrunken carburetor O ring. Go to shop order viton O rings, get wrong O rings. Rant about the future of the continuity of human species. Dig deep into the buried honda 90 shed resources and find a forgotten good carburetor. Strip clean, install... good carb we have a winner.
It's from 1974, came out of a roadside dump about 17 years ago. My kids have all learned to ride on this one. I use it for estate tours and checking the mailbox. There was this time where it had to outrun a very mad bull, glad it could.
First gear...hold on tight, second gear....

Goodness, back in Holland I had the 50cc road version of this. Changed the cylinder size to 70cc (which was illegal) and had the fastest 'moped' in town.
I remember riding from Holland to Luxemburg with the 50cc version on about one tank (5L petrol for just under 300Km's).
Love these old Hondas
