I have a raw all parts neck I want get finished in a satin/ vintage tint. I just don’t trust my skills to get it as good as I’d like it - that is perfect.
Can anyone recommend a luthier/ Boffin that does neck magic?

diy with the unicorn tears that is tru-oil... tint it with food colouring first, I have some neck maple offcuts for testing if you want a bit? I don't use it all for smoking ;)

sorry no, these are neck trimmings, 25mm max width... if you're painting it, you could just use plywood or anything.

Gonna try find a thin strip of maple and stain it light blue.

Second the Tru Oil. I did one 12 years ago. It's still like new and feels better than all my other necks including the raw wood.

Yup. Tru oil. Just make sure you let the rag dry outside - they’ve been known to spontaneously combust.

Only if you leave them folded or scrunched up.
Always solved the problem by setting fire to them when I was finished.
