Di Giorgio "Bel Son" Neck Reset

Been working on it on and off over the last few months and its now playable again. The action at the 12th fret has been reduced from 6mm or so to 2mm at high E and 2.5mm at low E.

"Playable" must be seen in the context of it being a classical guitar with a wide, chunky neck, flat fretboard and enormous string spacing.

Neck reset is documented here.

Exceptionally well played sir. I'm extremely impressed that you have brought this old girl back to life. Hope you can now enjoy it. You will get used to the neck--it is standard dimensions for a classical guitar.

You've done a great job, Jay. It's very close in feel to my Matsuoka which is a compliment. There's nothing to be done for the impossibly wide, flat fretboards except learn to play them as intended.

Or buy a nylon string Godin, Taylor, Lowden or Turner.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
