Re: Current build, serial no.59228.
The original intention was to paint the face either black (gretsch) or gold (LP). The sides and back will look like this, in fact, the back is even prettier. I've made this to sell, what do you think the guitar purchasing public would like most? First person to say 'a Floyd rose' gets a lifetime ban.

Banjo armrest. Functionally pointless, visually pleasing.robthemac wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 12:44 pmFloy-kdawg2a wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 12:40 pm The original intention was to paint the face either black (gretsch) or gold (LP). I live in North Carolina. The market is hugely biased towards banjos. And Gretschy clean country picken'.

Great pickup combo! Awesome looking wood. Perfect choice of knobs.

Re: Current build, serial no.59228.
What is the meaning of the serial number? I am sort of thinking 59 neck, 22 for 2022 and 8 the actual number?
When faced with quality, I recognise it every time.

Re: Current build, serial no.59228.
I've been buying random serial number neck plates and assigning them to each build to keep a record. My wife recently bought me some steel letter and number punches so now I can do what I want. Not the cleanest but practice makes perfect and each guitar is a stepping stone to the next.
These are for the next guitar on the rank. No rhyme or reason for the numbering on them.

Thanks Grant. You are a man of style and taste and I believe you are correct.

Re: Current build, serial no.59228.
And once again we arrive at the correct answer.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
