Can't see the brand on this one. If it were an old Tanner or Dyco it might be worth restoring.

Observations:
Shaft corroded, needs work to make the table move smoothly up and down.
Photo 3 shows the unit slightly angled.... is it seated ptoperly in its footing?

You should check it out in person and bring a level and smallish square. Then set the table horizontal. Put the square on the table and see if the drill bit moves up and down vertically in two planes 90 degrees separated.

Are the belts worn?

Check if the earth on the plug is connected to the frame with multimeter. Should be zero ohms or very close.

If the motor is going, drill a hole through a 25mm plank or so and check if it has gone through without drifting to one side.

I am sure others can add to this but hey, if this is too much, just leave it for someone else.

The seller seems to think it’s a knuth brand ?
I can't see a brand on mine - they are all cheap Chinese made and have always been available under different brand names. Offer $100 for it.
Epiphone Riviera P93 & EJ200CE, Hagstrom Viking Bass, Doubleneck bass/guitar.
Rivera Clubster 45, Carvin AG100D, Ashton BSK158.

My dad bought that one above back in the mid-80's, he gave it to me in the early 2000's when he bought a milling machine. I think it was built in the early 50's.

Me too with the Ryobi, great little machine. My Tele build about 14 years (same drill press) ago was done with that rig and yes there are areas where physically not possible to reach because the body would hit the column. It is forever set to the lowest speed and even that is fast.
I have the quality bones of an old Tanner (such quality castings), needs motor, that ones on my magnificent ever growing list of things to fix.

Guess who...

The toolbox stickers hint at where you're at.

I’m really happy with my Bosch, electronic speed control, laser sights, great depth gauge, built in clamp. What’s not to like?

Kept my old Ryobi but will use for fret pressing ;)
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.
