Actually enjoyed that far more than I expected, being that Blindspott never got far above distinctly average in my opinion...

...but I'm not sold on the vehicle used for getting the song to the masses... felt like I was drowning in a Microsoft info-mercial for a moment there... urgh...

MMM not bad at all....A little "hey look at me"..but thats partly the genre .

I went to his workshop at G-taranaki...was actually the low point for me!. Very unorganised and uninformative...but I wish him well with this record...Any kiwi instrumentalist that can be recognised without having to be a "singer songwriter (EECCHHH!!!! ) should be celebrated! - well done that man!

This is the guy who played in stylus also, correct?

a very "hair blowing in the wind" kinda track, and have listened to it at least half a dozen times already by choice:

Good work.

That is epic! I saw Blindspott live a couple of times and thought they were pretty awesome. It's a shame they didn't evolve from the nu metal sound and make better use of this guy's talent.

Yeah that was one thing that really frustrated me about nu metal, most of the guitarists had been playing for way longer than nu metal had been around and so knew perfectly well how to construct a great solo or two... but nu metal clones weren't allowed to solo, that was for the uncool old metal guys...

Blindspott would have cracked the overseas market but some people in the band did not want to do the hard yards to get there.

Actually I thought the best thing about them was their album cover, made me want to listen the the album. Unfortunately the music on the album didn't.
