Just got asked via email what I used for this track so thought I'd write it up here too:

Guitar - Takamine gx200 - pod farm custom settings except the intro clean which was a tone called "selling the drama"
bass - esp ltd
drums - DFH

All recorded on Audacity through the toneport kb37

Intro: 2 x clean guitars, 2x dist guitars and 4 x harmony guitars (at the start the slowly fade in faintly in the background).
Verse: 3 x clean guitars (they just play an F chord in the background) + 1 x lead guitar
pre chorus: 2 x distorted guitars + 1 x lead guitar
chorus: 2 x clean guitars, 2x dist guitars, 3 x harmony guitars, 2 x lead guitars
bridge: 2 x clean guitars + 4 x harmony guitars
solo: 2x distort guitars + 1 x lead.
I think that about wraps it up.

I think the trick was to make it not sound like so many guitars. The main lead guitar was actually the last to be recorded so i could play the whole thing from start to finish (except for the solo the main lead guitar was done in one take)

So yea, there it is if anyone was interested.

I feel so nerdy.
