Missing: Gibson ES135

Post by danrawkz »

My fathers Gibson ES135 has recently gone missing following some work done to the house (painters, carpet people, general workers in the house). Have looked all over but cannot find it, so at the moment we're assuming it's been stolen.

We're in central auckland, here's a picture of the said guitar. Had no hardcase but was inside a Gibson soft case/bag.

Oh mad bad.... no doubt you'll be hitting those contractors hard. That sucks!

Good luck, hopefully these are reasonably uncommon in NZ and even more so with the p90's? I hope so.. don't see that many around.. but then again I hear that they're keepers.

I looked at the painters doing our house 8 months back and thought to myself "there's no way they're going to see what I have...."...and that was the beginning in earnest of chunks of my gear living elsewhere. Seriously, these guys were knuckle dragging bong tokers and would have certainly jumped on any opportunity like a Gibson!

Sorry to hear about your Dad's loss. I'll keep my ears to the ground Akl/Ham's way....

Hey man - do you have a serial no?

I'm in Christchurch, but am more than happy to keep my eyes peeled. That makes me so fucking mad.

Unfortunately don't have the serial number :/. At the moment we're still hoping it may surface somewhere amongst all the junk around the house, but it's looking slimmer and slimmer..

Well spotted!
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.
