Speaker/s for tremolux

Post by StrummersOfThunder »

I have a lovely 30w blonde tremolux piggy back that I’m doing a little service work on

Just looking at the cab. I’m running a Jensen 100w jet tornado in the cab as a 1x12 . It’s a great speaker to be sure but I have never really tried it with much else …. Until I popped it thru my bassman 2x12 (emi maverick and allesandro ) and obviously it sounds bigger but also better .

Original design was a 2x10

Wondering about trying a different speaker or going back to 2x10 or….

Is it against the law to have a 10” and 12” in a cab?

Not enough room for 2 x 12

Thoughts?

10 and 12 will sound awesome

I love 2x10’s though

If you ever sell that Jensen to anyone but Grant or me, you should be perma-banned.

Love a good bit of pedantry.
