Kinda cool little piece of kiwi amp history.
Ive had a couple of jansen heads before and theyv'e never stuck. Kinda gave up on the idea of Jansen as a usable amp. Then i tried bruces and Jeans (clone).
Since then ive kept an eye out for a nice low watt combo.
This is a 2x el84 driven 1x12 combo.
It has non functioning tremolo and reverb that sounds like your spitting at an electric fence.
But.. the amp sounds great! Its hella loud. I wasnt expecting that. And...it seem 100% original inside...electroyltics/filter caps and all..
Since my Princeton arrived and became my go-to amp, I have fretted about the Jansen. There was a weak moment recently when I thought to offer it to you but now you have this, you'll be sorted.
That's a relief!
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

Bit of cleaning. Isoprpyl alcohol and a tooth brush inside, contact cleaner for pots and sockets and a bit of dilute detergent for the face plate and knobs.
God she was filthy inside.
Bit nicer now
