Post by Kris »

Is Steve still in business? I've seen quite a few fb ads and pages for various guys and wondered if anyone has had some experience with any of them.
Mostly just caps at worst I'm thinking as its all solid state ,and defo some cases of keep/bin lol

There's a guy I discovered on Facebook for some Hi-Fi service/repair work. He was good on the amps, not quite so good with a turntable arm.

he quite often posts pics of guitar/bass/PA amps that he's repairing and working on so probably be a good choice for Peaveys maybe?

His name is Chris Phillips

Ah yes! that is one i have seen-you have had him do stuff for you? I have some simple stuff that is more labour intensive, maybe i could split the difference and try him out.Report findings back to the group.

If you find a 5150 or 6505 head in your collection you need to part with, I could be keen :)
