Straight into it with a POD, why do you want a loop?

The amp has no bad points at all then
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.

"too big"???? <gasp> BLASPHEMY!!!
The reason it has no effects loop is that it is only a power amp, and an effects loop goes between the pre amp and the power amp. So if just put your effects between your POD, or your pre amp, it will be just like it is in an effects loop.
But speaking of FX loops, does any one use a delay pedal? Do you put it in there, or in front? The problem I'm having is that when I change channels, it keeps repeating, but the power amp volume changes, and I get a really loud couple of repeats.

I use it in the effects loop.
And there is no real way around the loud repeats- it either makes the repeats loud or the repeats themselves are just loud.

No, it's only when changing channels that there is a problem because
Channel A preamp (quiet) ====> Channel A power amp (loud) is the same volume as
Channel B preamp (loud) =====> Channel B power amp (quiet)
But when you change channels, it is the signal which has just come out of the preamp which is repeated. So when changing from Channel B to channel A you get:
Channel B preamp (loud) =====> Channel A power amp (loud) = extra loud.
Is that clear enough?
Also, the word channel has now lost it's meaning to me.

in fact it's been a big factor in motivating me to play.

Looking good, that. Gonna put a logo on it?
But those chicken head dials make settings a bit too easy to see. Ever thought of swapping them out for chrome knobs with a tiny, ambiguous dimple?
