Thanks, Guitartech.

Yes, I think I read that here or somewhere else - the Epi v2 has two stripes on the nameplate instead of one , I believe.

yeah and i believe the on off button iself has the "I" and the "O" kinda markings on one and not the others.. i think the version 3 is just an unprinted red button? maybe check the sites to get a clear inidication.. the version 3 is meant to be being shipped with jj/tesla valves and a better stock clean tone. or at least thats what i just read.. i can't strongly suggest more checking out an MI Audio Boost and buff pedal, even without modding the map it gives you some more grunt and really lifts the sound..I'm hoping to go pick mine up this afternoon.haha

Another interesting V Jnr site with other interesting links at the bottom of the front page:

http://www.valvejunior.com/

The main complaint with these amps that I keep coming is the hum. Most of the sites I've found have various tech solutions for fixing this but they're not much good if your not a tech-type person.

(If my posting these V jnr links is annoying please just say so.)

I found a bunch of Peavey 6.5", 8" and 10" speakers of various kinds and thought they might be worthy upgrades for these amps. PM me if you want to try one...
