Re: Sydney Guitar shops?
This is by far the best guitar shop I have ever been in.

Take the bus from downtown Sydney to Coogee, you will see it on the main road leading down the hill to Coogee shops. Its on the right hand side from the water. There are 4 guitar shops on that bus route to Coogee. So keep your eyes peeled. You may get off early.
I alway visit these guy and spend $$. They have a monster Collection of old pedals as well. they tend to be in the second hand market. You won't get a new Mexi Strat there. But they sell new Gibson and have at least 20 in stock at any time.
Good luck.

guitar crazy had some cool stuff when i went there Years ago,but the staff...there was this super queer old bastard who who would follow me around reading out loud the signage placed around the shop in a monotone horse race caller voice.."DO NOT TOUCH THE INSTRUMENTS WITHOUT CONSULTING STAFF FIRST!!"i was about one inch away from smashing him when the missus hurridly bundled me out the door....

Re: Sydney Guitar shops?
Like I said they are more SHM than new. When I was in there they had a great selection of 1980s basses.Dalron wrote:The usual advice though: check and know your prices. Sorry, I wasn't trying to contradict you on the 'oldies'. The Ultra I mentioned above has only been available in Australia for a year or two (I bought one new last October) and the SH price stood out like the proverbial dog's b*lls.TMG 03 wrote: Like I said they are more SHM than new.
