Hey guys,
Today at work we had nothing to do so we messing around with pickups in a workmates guitar. We thought'd we try them out in his amp which was also at our workshop. This being the twin reverb. Plugged everything and get a really nice sounding hum coming out. So we powered down pulled the tubes out and rammed them back in. Powered up and blew a power tube and the fuse. (they're a million years old and had a pretty hard life)
So we done the old half power trick where only running 2 power tubes ect and powered back up and then the tubes decided to run a nice electric blue with the same humming sound. Thats where we left it.
Any ideas?

Someone who actually knows what the blue arc means will be along any moment now. It's something specific and bad.

Re: Fender Twin Reverb
My amp blew a resistor, which blew a tube, and the fuse. The other tube lit up blue, due to a short from the carbon that the exploded resistor blew everywhere. Could be something similar in yours.
