MIDI configuration

Post by machina »

Hey guys. I think I posted on here a while ago about my MIDI foot controller not working properly (out of nine buttons, 5-9 do not work), and somebody suggested the preamp I use it with might not be configured for it. The preamp and pedal were (literally) made for each other, but is it possible that they need to be configured (they were bought independantly of each other)? If so, how do I check this, and how would I go about configuring it all?

Thanks.

should be in the respective manuals somwhere - midi configuration or midi implementation?
Its not enough that we succeed, we still need others to fail

Lol, I hadnt even thought about consulting the manual. It's probably in my head somewhere that it's easier to ask on nzguitars than do any kind of bothersome manual reading. I'll let you know how I get on.
