The original Line 6 Beans already had liquid profiling.

When you tossed them in the sea.

Liquid Profiling beta has landed. From the few small reviews I've read, it's really really good. I'll probably wait for the full release personally.

What even is Liquid Profiling?

I've had endless problems with the latest release of the OS. Rig Manager is simply not playing nicely with it. I've been back and forth with Kemper support for seemingly ages. They got me to try various beta builds of both OS and Rig Manager, and they resulted in various levels of brokenness. Now I haven't heard from them for a week now. It's ridiculously frustrating.

It adds the effects of whatever liquid you want to your toan, e.g. a vodka profile will make it more angry, bourbon will make it sound like it wants to have sex with its sister, and beer will have way more sag around the mids

Yeah I haven't updated for a number of months for this reason.
Can only hope they're working on it I guess.

As much as I like JBs answer, I'll give you the proper one.
They've digitally recreated tonestacks and circuits for a heap of amps so that when you adjust the gain, B M T etc on a profile, it reacts realistically to how an amp actually would. Or something like that

I prefered JB's answer, but yours is actually useful so thanks :-)

Oh, does that mean we will all need to buy new profiles theN, in order for this feature to work on our (virtual) amp? Or does it mean that the profiles we had will now work in a different way, and won't sound the same? Or something else?

New profiles is my understanding.

I don't think it'll make the Kemper sounds any "better", but it's cool to see them getting closer to the experience of a tube amplifier.

A few reports of increased touch sensitivity and harmonics. Always a good thing.

I’ve had a bit of a play with it today, on my existing favourite profiles. Very cool.

God no!

I did that originally when I got the kemper in 2013, with decent results. But the professional offerings are just so good (I use tonejunkie)

Yeah I'm the same. I use Bighairyprofiles. Although I profiled my amp through loadbox and IRs and the results were excellent. I use them live

The latest Beta seems to require 3.4.38 Rig Manager. Where can I get that from? There's only the download link for the official release version, which is 3.4.32.
