I've noticed a few Australian stores are now selling Legacy amps which are re-badged Epiphones:

(In the link just change the View all brands to Legacy then click View):

https://www.billyhydemusic.com.au/shop/ ... owse&id=30

The 5 watt Legacy is about $99 cheaper than the Epiphone.

Sounds like a good cheap way of getting a valve junior!

Not sure if I mentioned it above somewhere but there's a good Epi Jnr thread here on this Aussie forum:

One of the many deciding factors in my purchase! The shop has four of each model in stock so I'll enjoy trying each of them out first. Nice way to spend a Monday.

just make sure your not buying a version 1 .. they supposedly had alot of extra buzz and noise due to there components.. i have the version 2 and now thety are onto the version 3 already with even better noise reduction , due to some extra wiring i think and a few different caps.. and yeah guy has the Trannsformer.. he is the fender hoarder..hahaha
