You can buy a Fender, but never own one - they usually spend most of their time at the repair techs, so in a sense all fenders are belong to Clarry.

I like that post. The only Fender I've owned actually caught on fire, in my bedroom. It was quite something. It's hard to get that Scaletrix sound out of the curtains. Mind you it's hard to get lots of things out of the curtains.

Shit yes, and its in a proper size box too! And your neighbours would be able to hear it... this is an amp for pussy whipped metallers who are scared of the neighbours and their wives... they're much better off with a HD500.

i dont see the point in a 25w recto, its not gonna be "that" much quieter is it? still be too loud for bedroom use.... :?
Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

I figure the selling point is the size though, not the output wattage?

You're probably right, although I tend to think of these switchable low-to-mid wattage amps as trying to have the best of both worlds: suitable for bedroom with a 1x10 or 1x12, switch up and add a 2x12 or 4x12 for band practice or small venues.
