nah man, the marshall 1960 series cabs go for 800 in good nick. And theyre easy to sell again at 800 when you decide that your old, weak and dead inside.

Valve-stain cabs have pooey speakers inside. And then no one wants to buy them.

It's not a whole lot more, for a whole lot more

yeah but I don't have a lot of room.... theres a couple of 1960a's there, ones under $800 but I just wouldn't fit it in I suspect. There's always a 1936 but then CD will know I'm cloning his rig :D

get those ashtons that have the red celestions. PB will tell you how good the are! i think theya re about $699 new. and a little bit smaller.

haha, but those valvestate quads SOUND bad. I guess if you put in some proper speakers theyd be ok, but that's expensive on a quad
