^ that would really depend on where your amp is placed, and how the monitoring is done. if its mic'd up, definately wont be a problem for the venue

Yeah, what Snitchez said. With a 57 in front of it, it'll be absolutely fine, and your back will thank you. Put it at head height or pointing up and you and you'll be sweet.

Before I get my head bitten off I should clear this up:

The fender Deluxe amps have a muddy clean (and gain channel) in stock form (compared to other fender clean style amps I've tried). However with speaker swap/bias/mods etc. as Hot_Grits mentioned it'd be a great amp. I've got nothing against fender, but In stock form the classic 50 is a better amp (and yes they are a pain to service as previously mentioned.)

oooo, I just tried a second hand Vibrolux 2x10. I want that now. Anyone want to buy a well loved Classic 50 for double what it's probably worth?

Thanks to Mojo sound there's a pack shot of one in the Heavy Rain video. If I stopped making albums I could probably afford one...

I really loved it alot. It was a fair price too, but I don't wanna say more because someone will buy it and my dream will be over. I'm really tempted to sell my Classic 50 and try and get it, but it doesn't have the versatility of the Classic 50. The Classic has good clean (not as good as the Vibrolux though) and a really good drive channel, which the Vibrolux hasn't got at all. I don't use my drive channel much anymore because I've gone to pedals, but it's nice to have it available. The Vibrolux was SOOOOOooooo sweet clean and so much lighter to lift than the C50.

I really want to have both! Run them in stereo! Oooooohhhh yeeeaahhh baaabyyy.

Hi what? :P
Hurdy Gurdy.... some how... and I'm not entirely certain how mind you, an instrument that sounds like someone has shoved a nest of angry hornets into a goose with a kazoo bill and is randomly slapping the poor creature with an accordion.... Sounds amazing.

The CVR is a pretty low headroom amp. It's the brownface vibroverb ri that fender did for a couple of years with a different trem circuit (shared on both channels), different speakers and the negative feedback loop removed for earlier overdrive. I added the negative feedback loop and made it switchable, so I could get more cleans if needed. Looking bac, I wish I'd made it footswitchable as the volume and overdrive that came from switching the NFB loop out was perfect for a solo boost.
