thehenderson, you have a great outlook! Fuck I hope they sound wicked!

:D

they are very sweet, they have tamed my twin reverb. Well not really. But they have given it more warmth and crunch at lower levels. But it's still a mighty large venue beast

luckily my sheldon fund is going well :)

yeah cool :) well done for going with it - if I'd followed everyone's advice I'd still be using a shoebox with an elastic band stretched over it!!!

It would be a overland shoe box, or a sole at a pinch. And the elastic band would be 0.47 super slinky guage.

It would be amplified by a Heinz baked bean tin, or a Watties if I was feeling patriotic - obviously it would be a 420g can as I feel this is really the minimum for a full size gig. I wouldn't mind one of these though, they have the original hand rolled edges too

Image

but I reckon 220g is not big enough for anything but smaller venues - obviously YMMV :)

I'm really gassing for one of these though, if anyone sees one on TM let me know!

preferably a silver face if you see one!

can somebody point me back in the direction of the plot, I fear I may have lost it....
