hmm... see, i woulda thought that seeing BC-Rich on the bottle opener (oops, sorry, i mean pointy) head stock would have screamed out metal more than jackson... closely followed by deanBasket Case wrote:Nothing says metal like seeing "Jackson" on a headstock.
on the subject of amps though, my bro and i (okay, mostly my brother) just rebuilt a holden graphic 100. 4 kt77's (make the thing louder with punchier gain and more bottom-end) a new 12ax7, the 12at7 is gettin replaced soon too (or was that au7... meh) the amp is loud but nice sounding. full recap done and the crappy carbon resistors have been replaced...
high jack over
dont bother with either marshall or mesa... save up MORE and get an orange

There is a reverse to Ed's persepective - a lot of artists will jump ship whenever someone offers them a better deal (and in some cases, better renumeration).

True and a company like Jackson has less requirement for endorsees to push their brand into the realms of cool, unlike say Washburn and Dime's ML copy.CustomAudioBoutique wrote:There is a reverse to Ed's persepective - a lot of artists will jump ship whenever someone offers them a better deal (and in some cases, better renumeration).

Are Washburn and PRS having a copmetition to see who can sign the least-famous famous guitarist as an endorsee or something?
