You will mate, just set your amp to breakup. Roll a little volume back to clean up, turn it up and dig in you will have great marshall crunch. Add a tubescreamer for a little omph and solos and maybe a distortion for the metalica stuff. A visual sound jeckyl and hyde will do both for $200 or a G2D for a bit more. Then you have a 4 channel amp and all the basses covered.

Yea I'm pretty sure on the twin channel model Oranges that both channels are identical. So you could have a boost channel or a drive channel etc.
Yeah I have heard alot about the volume knob on your gutiar in regards to tube amps. However i have always been of the impression that gutiar volume knobs kinda suck tone. Like you turn them down and your tone goes with the volume. This true?
I'm sure I will be able to get the clean I want with the Orange whether it be through the use of the my guitar's volume knob or tube choice.
