So why haven't you got one in your car, home stereo, TV, iPod, PC etc? :)
Car:
There is tube car audio gear in current production, but I think its made for competition cars rather than a daily driver.

Home stereo:
Tube hifi gear is expensive, but theres heaps of it around.
I hope to one day have a tube hifi amp for my stereo.

TV:
My tv has a tube in it.......

iPod:
A tube iPod could keep your pockets nice and warm.
You can get tube iPod docks though....

PC:
A PC is like a Valvestate, an Apple is like a Plexi.

Timi, I use PC in the generic sense - Personal Computer. Therefore I encompass Apple in that descriptor (although I'd normally put it in the toy category - it is Christmas - the time for good cheer - after all). :)

My TV doesn't have a tube in it. Speaking of which, I used to be a TV tech way back when it was only tube stuff. It certainly made the job easier - the most common fault was a valve change.

Anyone see Birdman the Attorny General (I think that's it) on C4 last night..."X" had a birdman killing device that ran exclusively on valves, and wall socket power. That court room scene where he pushed the devide in there just about killed me...very funny shit.

When the Delorian was repaired in 1955 it had tubes, thus, making it better than the 1985 or 2015 version.
