Can I scrape in with a Zinky designed Fender Custom Vibrolux Reverb and a Mesa Blue Angel? -not truly boutique, but this is NZ, not exactly an amp paradise.

I tried out the handwired Marshall combo, and was very impressed. It'd be excellent for small club/recording use.

Hi everyone nice forum you have here.

I was somewhat surprised my 18watt marshall copy w/ ef86 channel I listed on trademe didnt sell but for you guys who want clips of many good boutique amps, check the site below, the recording isn't great and the clean - well it isn't clean but you get a decent idea of the sound. Listen to how lifeless/crap the mesa boogie dual recto is

Thats a good site but I have to wonder why they used some of the cabs they used. A marshall quad as the cab for a matchless dc30 combo? WTF is with that?

An orange cab to test a triple rec?

The only reason I can think of is that they matched up the speakers to what the manufacturer sells there cab with - vintage30's in mesa 4x12's, greenbacks/g12 30's/vintage30 mix in matchless?

The matchless DC30 is a combo. It has 2 unmatched speakers a 30 and a 25, both tweaked by matchless and in an open back cabinet. Accepted to be a crutial part of the DC30 sound. I still cant understand why they would use a closed back quad albeit miked.

Thats just one example because I know about it. I wonder how many others there are.

lets not lose enthusiasm on this one - might be worthwhile doing another soon as TMG now has his Mesa Boogie to show off. I'm sure it will end up being a 'swapmeet' hahaha....
So, is that low alcohol or no alcohol at all? mmmm, no alcohol, do you want to try it? Noooooooooo.
