Hi guys, new here.

unis are really nice amps. I prefer the Uni I tried over the Bivalve, though my choice of the THD litter would be the flexi, which has more to do with my lack of an el34 amp than anything else. I had a long chat to Andy Marshall when he came down recently, and he was a really nice, knowledgeable guy.

The uni strikes me as an ideal recording/well heeled hobbyist amp. Overseas, there's a lot of very drool-worthy competition in the boutique small amp area, but for the local market, the uni is probably one of the only really nice small amp choices out there. The whole 'use any valve' thing is beyond cool, too, and the built in power attenuator works really well.

i also recommend hotplates over those godawful marshall power brakes, but that's another story...
