Sounds ok to me, it is a practice amp really. It certainly sounds better than the Katana Mini (prolly cost more though)
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...

Slight derail here, but has anyone gigged with a Friedman chewb?
I played a BE clone live and even with treble and presence pretty high I just couldn't get it to cut through. Seems like they're great recording amps however.
Saw Billy Idol last summer too and Steve stevens had a giant HBE head on stage. Barely heard the guy in the mix.
