Pick this one up on Friday.
From what I surmise this may be the only one of these to come into the country, haven't seen another one at any of the Rockshops over the years. Usually these HWs are black tolex and reissue pinstripe grille cloth, so a little different for sure.
Celestion G12C speakers and KT66s.........heavy and loud.

This looks like something I’d like too! Haven’t heard of those G12C before, we’re they put out only in Marshall amps?

Coincidentally I was looking at that on the RS website last night...

Good to see that there is one other here.
Years ago I remember costing these out and they would have been a horrendous cost if they'd made it into the country back then('14-'17).
Now it looks as though M may have produced a cheaper export run and or Rockshop have discounted these at retail to meet that $5k mark.

Heard back from M who said that 4 of these 'olive green' ones were made by their design store, mine's March 2018.
Interesting to see the metal frame covering the tubes runs the width of the combo, that'll be coming out today.

I suspect they only put those in knowing any sensible muso will remove them thus invalidating the warranty  Nah OHS nanny nonsense.

Goldtop0 - I sent you a PM asking about the amp. I don't think you've seen it, so I'm just letting you know here :-)

Over the years it looks as though these 12Cs have been a Marshall thing with them being produced both out of the UK and China, the ones I have in my 1962 are from Brit.
They're said to be an aged G12M25, definitely a very good sounding speaker.

Here it is with the Collins pinstripe cloth, a more vintage look to it.
Plus I got a couple of '64 T731 alnicos and put those in.
