EVH thought so. Preferred 16ohms. Transformer operating more effectively or something

I have Resistance to Impede the Reactance here, also the Reluctance to mention the speaker coil back EMF?

Watching this thread is giving me a Heaviside.
Tube amp and guitar tones straight from 1958… amazing how believable the sounds were back then, even without the modellers...
