Smelly NOAD
Fender 65Bassman. Tube sheet is marked as AA864 as are many 60's Bassmans however from close inspection by a tech, this is the genuine article.
Clean machine. Wouldn't know how to break up unaided if it tried. However, clean with lots of body, twin like in fact but half the wattage.
The bottom end is expansive but pretty flubby so it'll be getting a butt tightening cap swap.
Dunno if I can be arsed to up the cosmetics on the box. It'll probably niggle at my ocd somewhere along the line...

Frank that's cool!
I think I have some aged repro grill cloth if you do want to make it a bit less Jansen.

Just saying, PT possibly has been run hot - looks like melted wax where wires leave the bell housing?

That would be cool. I've a load of Swart style cloth lying around but that's all...

That is super cool. Don't lose the Blue Caps!!! They have the tone.

Ummm…not to tread on toes or something, but if Monsieur ‘jester isn’t interested, I have a ‘68 BF, Super Reverb that needs a new baffle and grill cloth transplant…I’ll back-seat this one until you guys figure it out…just registering interest

Re: Smelly NOAD
Getting there. Back is still pretty disgraceful but I can live with that.
Cloth from Ben soaked overnight in water with ground coffee and tea bags to take the shine off.
Corners and badge from fender shop left in icecream container for a few hours with an open pot of hyrochloric acid to take the shine down a notch or two.
