If you reckon he'd stick with it, wouldn't be all bad to go down the low-power tube route. I wish I'd learned about gain and headroom and all that stuff a lot earlier.

$299NZ at the Rockshop, vs £269 incl shipping from Anderton’s? Doesn’t seem like your maths adds up.

Ben, if you end up buying a small head head, I've got a 1x12 cab currently selling for a little over a hand shandy which would pair well.

Looks like if you have had something else in the cart with different delivery charges, it holds that charge until you click right through till the button before payment before it updates. But their delivery charges can be weird, micro terror was 27 pound, but the Friedman Mini head that looked like a cool solution to this came up as 155 pound delivery charge!Danger Mouse wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2023 12:47 pmI got £27 delivery to NZ when I had a play with the Anderton's website.bender wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2023 12:30 pmPlus 160 GBP shipping.NippleWrestler wrote: ↑Tue Jan 17, 2023 12:17 pm

Re: Recommend me a practice amp for hard rock and metal
I picked up a Blackstar Debut 15E new for $199.
Does the job good and covers a lot of bases without complications.
Line in and headphone jack for quiet practicing.

There's a Friedman mini on FB with a $400 start price, but I get the feeling reserve might be higher.
