Fender joins the multi-effects and modelling world!

Not sure if Fender has done this before. They're a tad late in the race though, lots of options out there already.

Same price as the Helix which it's competing against most directly.

That's the closest one that popped in my mind as soon as I saw this. It's interesting how their amp models include the builtin reverbs, like in Princeton, Deluxe, etc. Not sure if they include the tremolo too though.

Yes, but Line 6 have how many years of doing this kind of thing?? at least its not so single purpose as the tone master amps, but they're way overpriced for what they are too...

I'm still waiting for Strymon to chuck an 8-core processor in an oversized metal box with the software for the Sunset, Mobius, Iridium, Big Sky and Timeline. Fender, not su much.

I've never gelled with Eventide stuff. Also the guys in my worship band only permit Strymon pedals in the house of the lord.

does anyone else think the foot switches are a bit awkwardly close together? The whole touch screen thing is also not my favourite to be fair.

I’m hyped for it for some reason. Seems pretty cool to me to have a fender solution for the fender amps. Would like bass models too tho

Just watched a couple of videos and I reckon it sounds like a POD 2.0 from over a decade ago. Not even in the ballpark of the Kemper or Iridium stuff

Touch screen I kinda dig but yeah you're right they're way too close together!

And they're a bit late to be making a pedal for Little Feet.
Beyond a critical point within a finite space, freedom diminishes as numbers increase. This is as true of humans as it is of gas molecules in a sealed flask. The human question is not how many can possibly survive within the system, but what kind of existence is possible for those who so survive.

I'm most of the way through the video, listening with decent headphones.

The smug Fender guy annoys me.

Some of the models sound nice. Others were pretty off-putting (AC-30).

I really, really like the interface. Especially the ability to use the footswitches as traditional knobs. And assignable lighting.

Amazing in/out options.

I don't like the price.

I wonder how loud the fan gets if you're pushing the processor to its limits.
