Re: Kapati / welli crew
I'm traveling Welly-Kapiti for a day trip next Tuesday if that's helpful.

Oh Oh Oh, pick me Strummers, pick me!
Maybe we could have a gearfest at Tony's shop and we can all take the Supro for a test drive...

Re: Kapati / welli crew
Actually if we really put our minds to it I reckon we could establish an underground railroad for amp shipping up and down the country. The Cook Strait might pose a bit of a hurdle but.

Re: Kapati / welli crew
Thanks Chaps !
Great response
So yes quite right nztone im curious about the thunderbolt.
But im unsure ....
I currently have the supro blakck magick 20=5 watt 1x12 two cahnnel with trem
The thunderbolt is a 1x15 60w (switchable 35/45/60 tube to SS rectifier)
Generally speaking I like a clean tone, but the little black magick has been a nice point of difference. I slightly prefer its black rhino tolex to the tim allen jeans blue.
The seller is happy for an even swap.
Whats the team consensus ?
I had a listen to quite a few reviews and tho you tube reviews kind of suck in terms of getting a good idea I didnt really find a clean tone on the thunderbolt that I thought was that great....
Im wonderinf in the cold light of day if I should stick with the black magick as a better home amp (it has a bit more to offer with the trem and two chanels)
Unless there is anyone out there who has some wisdom on the thunderbolt ....
thanks!
